Cost of 1 kg onion = ₹30
Cost of ⅓ kg onion = ₹30 ÷ 3 = ₹ 10

Cost of 1 kg carrot = ₹15
Cost of ⅕ kg carrot=⅕ of ₹15= ₹15 ÷ 5 = ₹3
Cost of ⅗ kg carrot = 3× ⅕ kg of carrot = 3 × ₹3 = ₹ 9
