Solution
The kind of cells they are made of is a more basic characteristics for classification of organisms since it gives proper differentiation between them.
The place where they live can often miss guide us as various different kind of organisms live in the same area. For example, a banyan tree and a cat live in the same area but are very distant biologically.
One belongs to the Plant Kingdom whereas the other belongs to an Animal Kingdom.
If we see on the basis of their cells, we can properly make out the difference between a plant cell and animal cells and differentiate them into different groups.
