Why are lysosomes called suicidal bags ?

Lysosomes are organelles found in cells.they contain hydrolytic enzymes within themselves.they are known as suicide bags because they release the enzymes within the cell in which they are present and hence autolysis which is the self destruction of a cell occurs.
