Why do most people get acne and pimples on the face during puberty?

Puberty:

Sebaceous glands:

1. The sebaceous glands are exocrine glands that are responsible for the secretion of oil and sebum.
2. During puberty, the sebaceous glands become highly active and secrete a high level of sebum secretion making the skin oilier.
3. The accumulation of this sebum and oil results in pimples during puberty.
