Question

Why do we drool while seeing our favorite food?

Open in App
Solution

  • Salivary glands secrete saliva at the sight, thought or smell of food.
  • When we think, smell or see food items our nerve cells get stimulated and reminds the taste of that particular food which we ate before.
  • This tempts us to eat that food and as a result saliva comes out of our mouth and we drool.
