What are memory B cells and memory T cells?

B cells and T cells:

1. B and T cells are white blood cells that are responsible for adaptive immune responses in an organism. Both types of cells are produced in the bone marrow.
2. B cells mature in the bone marrow, whereas T cells mature in the thymus.
3. B and T memory cells are clones of specific B and T cells that survive long after an infection has been eradicated.
4. These cells store information about each pathogen to which the body is exposed.
