Write the smallest 5-digit number and express it in terms of its prime factors.

The smallest five digit number is 10000.
Now, 10000 = 2 x 5000
Also, 5000 can be written as (2 x 2500)
and, 2500 can be written as​​​​​​​ (25 x 100)
25 can be written as (5 x 5) and 100 can be written as (10 x 10)
10 = (2 x 5)
Hence, we get the factor tree as below:​​​​​​​



The prime factors of 10000 are 2×2×2×2×5×5×5×5.
