Latest Update about UPSC Results –

• UPSC Mains 2021 Result was declared on 17th March 2022. Personality Tests (Interviews) of these candidates will be commenced from 5th April 2022.
• IAS Prelims 2021 Result got declared on 29th October 2021. 
• UPSC has declared the results of the UPSC 2020 interview/personality test on 24 September 2021.

Final results of UPSC 2020 out!

A total of 761 candidates have been recommended for the various posts including IAS, IPS, IRS, etc. AIR 1 has been bagged by Shubham Kumar. Jagrati Awasthi and Ankita Jain have bagged the second and third ranks, respectively. UPSC Results 2019

Earlier, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Final Result 2019 on 4th August 2020. 829 candidates were declared successful based on the result of Mains Examination and Interviews that took place from 20th September to 29th September 2019, and between February-July 2020 respectively. Pradeep Singh has become the IAS Topper for Civil Services Exam 2019.

The commission also has released the list of 89 candidates from the reserve list for the appointment to IAS, IPS, IFS, and Central Services Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ in UPSC Batch 2019. You can download the PDF of the Reserve List of CSE 2019 here:

UPSC Result (Year Wise) (2015-2020)

The Civil Services Exam is conducted every year by UPSC in order to recruit officers into the Indian civil services. The candidates who are selected go on to serve in different capacities in various all-India services such as the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and so on.

The UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) is one of the most prestigious exams in the country and its success rate is also quite low. On an average, starting with about 5 lakh candidates who take up the preliminary exam (the first stage), ultimately only 700 – 1000 candidates are selected for the services.

The break-up of the total number of candidates from different categories who are selected in the Civil Services 2019 is mentioned in points below:

• Total Number of Candidates from General Category – 304
• Total Number of Candidates from EWS Category – 78
• Total Number of Candidates from OBC Category – 251
• Total Number of Candidates from SC Category – 129
• Total Number of Candidates from ST Category – 67

Note: The commission has put 182 candidates on the reserved list.
