About the GSEB SSC Board
The GSEB SSC Board exam is conducted for a number of subjects like Mathematics, Science & Technology, Social Science, English, Hindi, and Gujarati. The GSEB SSC Exam is conducted for the Class 10 Students every year. This exam paves the way for students to go to the next stage of their education, i.e., they get an opportunity to enrol themselves for their Class 12 courses, and select the stream of their choice. This is the first time that the students appear for any Board Exams, and is hence, very crucial for them.

- Total Number of Students: The average number of students appearing for the GSEB SSC exams has been roughly ranging in between 7.7 lakhs – 8.6 lakhs. The numbers showed a remarkable increase in the year 2021, when 8,57,204 students appeared for their Class 10 GSEB Exams. - Overall Passing Percent: The performance of students in SSC GSEB has been showing a nearly consistent trend. In 2016, 67.06% of the students had passed, and this percentage increased in 2017, with 68.24% of the students passing. The percentage dipped low in 2020 when 60.64% of the students passed. Last year, 8,57,204 students had registered, and all of them were declared to have passed, as the exams were cancelled owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, 8,22,823 students appeared for SSC Gujarat Board examination (Class X), which was held in March 2019. The passing percentage was at 66.97%, while the total pass percentage for 2020 exam was at 60.64%
In the year 2018, the total number of students who appeared for the Gujarat SSC exam was 7,89,693, out of which only 5,32,605 cleared it.
The 2021 Statistics of SSC Gujarat Board Exam
The number of students appearing for the GSEB SSC Board 2021 showed a notable increase, as compared to the number of students who appeared in 2020. In 2021, the number of students appearing was 8,57,204, and all of them were declared successful. The results were declared on the 29th of June, 2022. This was the first time that the GSEB recorded a 100% pass rate. The 10th board exams were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the board had decided to promote all the students to Class 11.
