LIC ADO Exam Dates
Earlier the exam dates for LIC Apprentice Development Officers Mains exam was August 11, 2019, but LIC in the official notification had released the revised date of the exam, i.e. September 22, 2019.
Candidates can refer to the previous year LIC ADO exam notification for details. This shall help you apprehend the level of the exam and type of questions asked in the exam.
The application process for LIC ADO started on May 20, 2019. The results of the Prelims Examination conducted on July 6 2019, and July 13, 2019, was released at the LIC official site.
As per 2019 LIC notifications, the LIC ADO Mains Examination was scheduled on 11th August 2019 in all the centres, which is now postponed to be held on September 22, 2019.
The application process for LIC ADO started on 20th May 2019. The results of the Prelims Examination conducted on 6th July 2019, and 13th July 2019 was released at the LIC official site.

LIC ADO Eligibility
The candidates need to fulfil some of the eligibility criteria to get selected as an Apprentice Development Officer. The LIC ADO eligibility criteria are discussed below:

LIC ADO Selection Process
Candidates are appointed for the post of Apprentice Development Officer through LIC ADO examination. LIC conducts the exam, and the selection process consists of three levels:
- Written Test/ Online Test: It is a computer-based online test conducted in two phases:
- Phase -I: Preliminary Examination
- Phase -II: Mains Examination
- Personal Interview
- Medical Test

The prelims exam has been categorised into three sections:
- Reasoning
- Numerical ability
- English language
The LIC ADO examination is conducted for three different categories:
- Open Market: open for all the candidates
- LIC Employee: open for candidates who are full time, salaried employee of LIC (under Grade III)
- LIC Agent: open for candidates who work as agents under LIC.

Personal Interview
The candidates who qualify the cut-off marks in the Mains Examination are called for an interview round. The interview is of 37 marks and includes aptitude based questions to check the reasoning and thinking capability of the candidate.
Medical Exam
Before releasing the final merit list, LIC conducts a medical test for the shortlisted candidates. Only those candidates who are found will be selected for the post of Apprentice Development Officer.

LIC ADO Salary
As per the rules of the Corporation, an ADO is provided with a monthly stipend of Rs. 34,503 (including HRA + admissible allowances)
