NEET-UG 2021 is scheduled to be conducted on 12th September 2021. The registrations for the same commenced from 13th July and would conclude on 6th August, as per previous notification. The latest notification states that the application process is further extended up till 10th August 2021.
As per the recommendation of the DGHS (Directorate General of Health Services), Ministry of
Health & Family Welfare in the context of using NEET results for admissions to the institutes of B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing Course. The same was stated in the information bulletin –
“The Result of NEET (UG) – 2021 may be utilized by other Entities of Central and State Governments, in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The result data will also be utilized for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules”.
This comes after receiving requests from the Nursing institutions affiliated with the DU (Delhi University) for their inclusion in the List of Participating Institutions of NEET (UG) 2021, to enable the utilization of NEET scores for those who seek admissions to B.Sc (Hons.) course.
Consequently, it was decided to extend the duration of the application interval till 10th August 2021 (5 pm). The fee payment can be done till 10th August 2021 (11:50 pm). This would allow candidates to apply for NEET 2021, including those candidates who wish to seek admission to B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing Course.
The correction portal shall be enabled from 11th August to 14th August 2021 (2 pm) for registered candidates to make the required corrections in the respective fields in their forms.
