Class 9 - Rajasthan State board (2018-19)

Class 9 of Rajasthan state board comes under Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan commonly known as BSER. The board was established during the year 1957 under the Rajasthan Secondary Education act. BSER mainly focuses on the development and promotion of education in the state of Rajasthan.

The major function of this state agency includes affiliation of new institutions under Rajasthan board, prescribing syllabus, textbooks, conducting board examination for various school levels. It further provides Class 9 Vocational examination, Secondary school and Vocational examination (+10 level), Class 11 Vocational examination, Senior secondary examinations (10+2) (Arts/ Science/ Commerce) and various examinations for Sanskrit and talent hunt. BSER encourages students by offering various scholarships. The eligible students for scholarships are chosen based on various examinations conducted by the board and through various other parameters. In short, BSER governs each and every single aspect of secondary education in Rajasthan.

Class 9 is crucial because it is a stepping stone for all major upcoming standards. Keeping this in mind, BSER designed an efficient curriculum for class 9.
