As per the exam calendar, SSC GD examination 2021 was scheduled for August 2nd onwards, but due to a delay in the release of official notice for the exam, the new dates for the exam will be notified by the commission later.

SSC GD Vacancy
The total number of SSC GD Vacancy 2021 as announced in the Constable Notification 2021 is 25271. Detailed SSC GD Vacancy 2021 is given below for Candidates reference.
Important Points –
- The vacancies are Tentative. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the website of the Commission
- Candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in India
- 10% vacancies are earmarked for Ex-servicemen (ESM). If suitable ESM candidates are not available, vacancies reserved for ESM will be filled by non-ESM candidates of respective categories.
- As the vacancies in CAPFs have been earmarked States/ UT-wise, candidates are required to submit Domicile/ Permanent Residential Certificate of the State/ UT indicated by them in the online Application Form at the time of DME/ Documents Verification failing which his/her candidature will be cancelled forthwith and the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the Detailed Medical Examination.

SSC has again revised SSC GD vacancy 2018 on December 16th, 2019. SSC has now announced a total of 60210 SSC GD vacancy for GD Constable Post in CAPFs Departments.

SSC GD Recruitment Apply Online
According to the SSC GD Notification PDF 2021, the online registration for the SSC General Duty recruitment starts with the release of notification.
Aspirants willing to apply for SSC GD constable recruitment can apply for the exam till August 31st 2021 but they must first satisfy the eligibility conditions and then log in to the SSC official website (ssc.nic.in).

SSC GD Application Fee:
As per the SSC GD Notification 2021, application fee for taking the exam was Rs. 100/-. However, women candidates, Ex-Servicemen, and SC/ ST candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
The fee for SSC GD apply online process can be either paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa/ Mastercard/ Maestro Credit/ Debit card.

SSC GD Admit Card
Upon completion of the SSC GD online application procedure, the SSC GD recruitment admit card is released soon enough.
Applicants who successfully fill the SSC GD Constable recruitment application form 2021 exam will be able to download the exam call letter two weeks before the examination from the website of the concerned SSC Regional Office upon intimation.
