The recruitment for ITBP is done for a different number of vacancies which are specified by the Commission each year.
The ITBP vacancies for the post of Assistant Commandants differ each year. As per the CAPF 2021 notification, a total of 20 vacancies are released for ITBP ACs Post out of which 13 vacancies are backlog vacancies from previous years.
Similarly for CAPF 2020 notification, a total of 27 vacancies are released for ITBP ACs Post and for the past two years, a total of 67 jobs have been released by UPSC for ITBP recruitment.
